Baptiste Juguera studied music before becoming interested in the craft of violin making. After graduating from the National School of Lutherie in Mirecourt, France in 2011, he moved to Montpellier to hone his craft with master luthier Frédéric Chaudière. From his own workshop, opened in Montpellier in 2012, Juguera builds violins, violas, and cellos using many self-made tools. His instruments are owned by professional string players worldwide.
