As a School Program Specialist, you will provide high-level service to our school programs within an assigned territory. As the Relationship Manager for our Music Educators and School Programs within the assigned territory, you will support our rental programs in the field by keeping educators abreast of new and enhanced services we provide, and visiting schools regularly to deliver instrument exchanges, product orders, and pick up both instruments being returned and instruments needing repair. You will engage with existing and potential clients by attending various conferences and festivals throughout the year. You will expand the company's reach by developing strong relationships with new clients and teachers through in-person visits and consistent email and phone communication. You will organize and manage rental events from start to finish, including scheduling, staffing, and estimating instrument and accessory needs.
Other responsibilities will include explaining contract terms to customers, sizing players into rental instruments, and assisting with selection of related supplies and accessories. You will also process retail and rental instrument transactions through use of a point-of-sale system, maintain our customer database, and record transactions completed through school visits.
The ideal candidate will have a professional and friendly demeanor, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and strong problem-solving skills. You must be organized, able to follow detailed instructions accurately, and be comfortable working independently. You must have outstanding customer service skills, and be self-motivated.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience are required.
Other requirements: strong computer skills, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to operate 20-foot vans, and ability to pass a CORI check.
FULL TIME: 40 hours, Monday-Friday. Availability to work long hours, including nights (seasonally) and weekends (occasionally) is required.
