Sattler Strad Pad Original Tan Chinrest Pad, Standard

Soft foam cushioning for comfortable violin and viola playing

The Sattler Strad Pad Original Tan Chinrest Pad provides a comfortable cushioned surface for violin and viola players who want to reduce pressure from the chinrest. The foam pad rests directly on the chinrest rather than against the instrument, offering a neat alternative to handkerchiefs and other makeshift padding. This placement also helps maintain tonal clarity by keeping the additional padding material away from the body of the violin or viola.

This original standard-size Strad Pad features a simple Velcro attachment for secure placement and easy removal. Its compact design allows it to remain attached when the instrument is placed in its case, making it convenient for lessons, practice, rehearsals, and performances. The washable pad is finished in its original beige-tan color and provides practical cushioning without requiring a different chinrest. Lightweight and straightforward to use, it is particularly well suited to students seeking a more comfortable playing setup.
