Sattler Strad Pad Rosewood Chinrest Pad, Standard

Soft foam cushioning for comfortable violin and viola playing

The Sattler Strad Pad Rosewood Chinrest Pad provides soft cushioning for players who want greater comfort between the jaw and chinrest. Its foam construction offers a neat, purpose-designed alternative to bulky handkerchiefs or other makeshift padding. Because the pad rests directly on the chinrest rather than against the body of the instrument, it provides cushioning without placing additional material on the violin or viola, helping preserve tonal clarity while making practice and performance more comfortable.

This standard-size Strad Pad features a Velcro attachment for secure placement and easy removal. The lightweight pad can remain attached when the instrument is placed in its case, making it convenient for lessons, rehearsals, practice sessions, and performances. It is also washable for straightforward ongoing care. Finished in a rosewood color for a traditional appearance, this standard Strad Pad offers an uncomplicated way to add cushioning to a compatible violin or viola chinrest.
