Sattler Strad Pad Black Chinrest Pad, Standard

Soft foam cushioning for greater chinrest comfort

The Sattler Strad Pad Black Chinrest Pad provides a comfortable cushioned surface for violin and viola players who want to reduce pressure from the chinrest. The foam pad rests directly on the chinrest rather than on the instrument, offering a neat alternative to handkerchiefs and other makeshift padding. By keeping additional material off the instrument itself, the Strad Pad also avoids the tonal damping that can result from placing a cloth against the body of the violin or viola.

This standard-size Strad Pad uses a simple Velcro attachment for secure placement and easy removal. Its compact design allows the pad to remain attached when the instrument is placed in its case, making it convenient for lessons, rehearsals, and everyday practice. The pad is washable for straightforward care and finished in black for an understated appearance. Lightweight and easy to use, it provides practical cushioning without requiring a change of chinrest.
