Memory, for solo cello; Chen Yi (Theodore Presser)

Written originally for solo violin, Chen Yi's memorial to a favorite teacher captures the depths of loss, the power of Memory. The piece was adapted for solo flute by Mary Holzhausen, and is now arranged for solo cello by the composer.
