The CodaBow Revelation 3/4 French Bass Bow combines modern composite construction with balanced playing characteristics for advancing double bassists. Designed primarily for orchestral arco playing, the Revelation has a centered balance, moderate action, and medium-stiff feel that support controlled articulation and a stable connection with the strings. Its lively response helps the bow initiate strokes quickly while maintaining an even, confident feel from frog to tip.

A unidirectional carbon fiber shaft surrounds a Kevlar fiber acoustic core, providing a durable combination of strength and flexibility. The French-style frog is made from CodaBow's proprietary Xebony® engineered composite and fitted with sterling silver, while ethically sourced Mongolian horsehair completes the playing surface. Sterling silver and silk winding and a goatskin grip provide traditional appointments. Handcrafted in the USA, the Revelation is also designated GlobalBow® and contains no endangered, monitored, or regulated species, making it particularly practical for musicians who travel internationally.
