The Zither Z Stand in mahogany brings the same handcrafted quality and thoughtful design as the rest of the Z Stand line, rendered in a wood prized for its warm, reddish-brown tone and smooth, fine grain. Built entirely from solid mahogany — no particle board, no laminate — each stand is individually made and unique in color and character. A hand-rubbed oil finish is applied so that it hardens within the wood rather than sitting on the surface, deepening the mahogany's natural warmth over time.

The instrument rests in a USA-made String Swing cradle — padded, finish-safe, and rated for nitrocellulose-finished instruments. A bow holder is included. With 31 inches of clearance from cradle to base, the stand is sized for full-size violins and violas, and requires only a Phillips-head screwdriver for simple assembly.
