The Dampit Guitar Humidifier – Super is a larger version of the original Dampit, designed to help protect larger guitars from the damaging effects of excessively dry air. Placed inside the instrument, the reusable humidifier gradually releases moisture to raise and maintain humidity during dry weather and central-heating periods. Proper humidification helps reduce the risk of dryness-related problems such as cracking, warping, and separating joints.

To use the Super Dampit, immerse it in water for about 20 seconds, remove excess water, wipe the outer tube dry, and position it inside the guitar. A cord lock replaces the metal clip previously used on this model, helping secure the humidifier without a metal component near the instrument. The included humidity indicator helps monitor room conditions, and Dampit recommends an optimum relative humidity range of 45–55%. Long-lasting and easy to rehydrate, the Super model provides added humidification capacity for larger guitars and demanding dry conditions.
