Dampit Guitar Humidifier, Regular

Reusable in-instrument humidification for protecting your guitar in dry conditions

The Dampit Guitar Humidifier – Regular is a reusable humidification system designed to help protect wooden guitars from the effects of excessively dry air. Placed inside the instrument, the Dampit gradually releases moisture to help maintain a more appropriate humidity level during dry weather and central-heating periods. Regular humidification can help reduce the risk of dryness-related problems such as shrinking wood and cracks.

Designed for straightforward everyday care, the Dampit is immersed in water for about 20 seconds, gently squeezed to remove excess water, and wiped dry on the outside before being placed inside the guitar. For proper positioning, it should be looped around the strings so it does not rest against the wood inside the instrument. The included humidity indicator helps monitor room conditions, with Dampit recommending an optimum relative humidity range of 45–55%. Long-lasting and easy to reuse, the Regular Guitar Dampit offers a practical approach to seasonal guitar humidification.
