The Boveda 2-Way Humidification Starter Kit, Small provides convenient humidity control for violins, violas, mandolins, ukuleles, and other small wooden instruments stored in cases. The B49 Standard humidity control packet is designed for most climates, helping minimize humidity fluctuations by automatically adding or absorbing moisture as conditions change. Boveda maintains a relative humidity range between 40% and 60%, helping provide a more stable environment for sensitive wooden instruments.

The kit includes one Boveda refill packet, a single-pouch fabric holder, and step-by-step instructions. The soft holder allows water vapor to pass through while acting as a liquid barrier if the packet is accidentally punctured. Simply remove the packet's clear outer wrapper, place the unopened packet inside the holder, and position it where air can circulate within the instrument case. Keep the case closed while using Boveda, and replace the humidity control packet approximately every three months. Boveda should not be combined with other humidification products or packets with different RH levels in the same case.
