The Yamaha THR5A Acoustic Modeling Combo Amp brings flexible amplification and recording features to a compact design optimized for acoustic-electric and silent guitars. Yamaha's Virtual Circuitry Modeling technology provides four microphone simulations—Condenser, Dynamic, Tube, and Nylon—along with an EG CLN setting for electric guitar. These tonal options make it easy to shape the amplified character of an instrument for practice, rehearsal, or recording.

A 10-watt stereo output drives two 8 cm full-range speakers, while onboard compression, modulation, delay, and reverb effects provide additional control without requiring a separate effects setup. USB connectivity supports computer recording and playback, and an AUX input accommodates external audio sources for practice and accompaniment. A built-in chromatic tuner adds everyday convenience. The THR5A can operate from the included AC adapter or eight AA batteries, making this portable acoustic guitar amplifier equally practical at home, in a teaching studio, or on the go.
