Fishman C-200 Concert Series Cello Pickup

Natural Cello Amplification with a Premium Despiau Bridge

The Fishman C-200 Concert Series Cello Pickup provides clear, natural amplification while preserving the distinctive acoustic character of the cello. Designed for accurate tonal reproduction, this bridge-integrated pickup captures the instrument's resonance, warmth, and dynamic response with consistent balance across all four strings. Its responsive design accommodates both arco and pizzicato playing, making it well suited to amplified performances in classical, contemporary, and crossover settings.

Unlike pickups that attach to an existing bridge, the C-200 features a piezo-ceramic transducer expertly integrated into a high-quality Despiau cello bridge. This complete replacement bridge design provides direct contact with the instrument's vibrations, producing a precise, balanced signal without requiring an externally mounted pickup element. The included 1/4-inch Carpenter output jack provides a convenient connection to an amplifier or sound system. An impedance-matching preamp is recommended for optimal performance but is not required, and the pickup is compatible with Fishman Aura Imaging preamps for additional tonal versatility. Professional installation is required to properly fit the bridge and protect the integrated pickup element.
