Things 4 Strings CelloPhant Black Bow Accessory - Universal Fit for Cello

Support a relaxed, natural cello bow hold

The Things 4 Strings CelloPhant is an ergonomic bow-hold teaching aid designed to help cellists develop a relaxed, functional right-hand position. Its elephant-shaped design opens and supports the hand while providing tactile reference points for consistent finger placement. The trunk encircles the thumb and guides it toward the intersection of the frog and stick, encouraging the flexible thumb and fingers that are fundamental to comfortable cello bow technique.

Designed for beginning players as well as cellists refining their bow hold, the CelloPhant uses its toenails, legs, and other contours as reference points that players can feel while practicing. Its flexible design accommodates differences in hand size and bow-hand position without forcing the fingers into a rigid configuration. The accessory also adds a small amount of weight to the bow to help beginning players draw a fuller tone with less effort. Made in the USA from durable medical-grade silicone rubber, this Concert Black CelloPhant is latex-free, dishwasher safe, and universally sized for cello and French-style double bass bows.
