The CelloGard Model One Cello Stand is designed to help prevent cellos from being accidentally knocked over when resting unattended on their sides. Rather than holding the instrument upright like a conventional cello stand, CelloGard stabilizes the cello in its resting position and helps resist and absorb the force of accidental contact. Its flexible construction automatically adapts to a variety of cello shapes and accommodates 1/2 through 4/4 size instruments.

Constructed from industrial-grade nylon, the CelloGard Model One combines flexibility, durability, and toughness while remaining suitable for contact with the instrument. The stand comes with a pair of soft gray neoprene sleeves already installed, making it ready for immediate use during practice, lessons, rehearsals, recording sessions, or performances. For players who prefer a different look, optional replacement sleeves are available separately in eight additional colors. The straightforward design provides a practical way to add stability and protection whenever a cello needs to be placed safely on its side between playing sessions.
