The StringVision BowGrip is an ergonomic bow frog covering designed to promote a comfortable, secure bow hold while helping reduce hand fatigue. Suitable for violin, viola, and cello bows, the flexible grip stretches over the frog and provides a soft, stable surface for the bow hand. A reinforced thumb indent encourages comfortable curved-thumb placement and can help players maintain a lighter grip during practice, rehearsals, and performances.

Made from a durable, non-latex elastomer formulated as a grip material, the BowGrip also adds a layer of protection around the frog and thumb area to help reduce wear on the bow. By covering the lower inside corner of the frog, it can also soften occasional contact with the instrument's C-bout. The BowGrip installs without removing the frog from the stick and fits full-size and fractional-size violin, viola, and cello bows. A light coating of cornstarch inside helps the material slide into position during installation.
