Cherub Box Violin & Bow

A simple first step for learning violin holding positions

The Cherub Box Violin & Bow gives eager young beginners a safe, simple way to start learning basic violin and bow holding positions before they are ready for a playable instrument. The set includes a 1/16-size, violin-shaped box made from corrugated cardboard, providing a lightweight practice aid that small children can comfortably handle during early lessons and at home.

A wooden bow with a frog is included to help introduce the physical motions and positioning associated with holding a violin bow. The bow is intentionally made without hair, and the cardboard violin does not function as a musical instrument, allowing children to concentrate on posture and handling without producing sound. Often used for pre-Twinkle and other introductory violin activities, the Cherub Box Violin & Bow is a practical teaching aid for children who are excited to begin learning before transitioning to a conventional violin.
