Building Equity

While renting you will accrue equity* that you can use at any time toward the purchase of any Johnson instrument. If you decide to buy, a portion of all accumulated rental fees will be applied toward the instrument purchase. As a Johnson renter, 100% of your first year's rent, plus 20% of your rent for subsequent years, can be applied toward the purchase of any instrument from Johnson's, including the one that you are currently renting. With our extensive inventory, experienced staff, and free trial policy, we'll make sure you buy an instrument you love.

* Equity and purchase discount amounts are calculated from the rental fee excluding tax and insurance. Equity can only be used for the same class of instrument (violin, viola, cello) that is being rented. Please see our rental contract for specific details regarding our equity and insurance policies.
