Adoration for violin and piano by Felix Borowski
Edited by George Perlman and Simon Reeves. Published by Carl Fischer
Felix Borowski (1872-1956) was a British-American composer and teacher. After studies in London and Cologne, he traveled to the United States and settled in Chicago, where became director of the Chicago Musical College and was the program annotator for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He is perhaps most remembered for his charming, smaller pieces for violin and piano, especially the beautifully lyrical “Adoration” (1898), which has become a popular student piece. Intermediate level, Grade 3.
