The famous violin maker Gustave Bernardel created the recipe for Gustave Bernardel Rosin early in the 20th century. This popular light colored, medium sticky rosin produces a clear, bright tone with very little dust. The round cake of rosin is attached to a protective suede cloth and packaged in a blue pouch.
