Marie Chastagnol violin bow

French bowmaker Marie Chastagnol was trained as a cabinet maker before attending the French National School of Lutherie in Mirecourt. Upon leaving school, she worked with various master craftspeople including Jean-Frédéric Schmidt, Arthur Dubroca, and Alexandre Aumont. It was during these experiences that Marie gained an interest in pursuing bow making. This interest led her to work with Yannick L Round. Ebony and silver fittings. 4/4
