Fall 2012 Johnson String Instrument will deliver standard rental stringed instruments with carbon fiber bows for the Wayland Public Schools on Tuesday, September 11th to the Claypit Elementary School. Please meet us in the Claypit cafeteria between 6:00 and 8:00 PM to pick up, return, or exchange a rental instrument. We recommend that you place an order in advance as this is the only way to guarantee that the appropriate instrument and accessories will be held for you until 8:00 PM. You may do so before 5PM on Monday, September 10th by calling 800-359-9351 or by using the online order form found on our service trips web page. We will hold a second rental night for the Wayland Public Schools on the following day, Wednesday, September 12th, in the Happy Hollow Elementary gymnasium. The two nights are listed separately on our service trips web page. Please be sure to register according to your preference. New Rentals: Please note that while the rental fee may be paid by cash, check, or credit card, we do require all renters to provide a credit card number on the contract in lieu of a security deposit. When registering, indicate that you do not know which instrument size you need. Your teacher provides sizing information, so we can adjust instrument size at the school if necessary. Advance registration is REQUIRED for bass delivery! Exchanges: To upgrade or exchange your instrument, please place an order via your online account or call 800-359-9351 before 5PM on Monday, September 10th. Meet us in the Claypit cafeteria between 6 and 8PM on the 11th to make the exchange. Returns: Advance registration is not necessary for returns; simply meet us in the Claypit cafeteria on September 11th to close your rental account. Please be sure your instrument is clearly marked with your name and phone number. Books and accessories: Third and fourth graders need Essential Elements 2000 Book 1--you may already have this, as it has been used in some previous years. Fifth graders need Essential Elements 2000 Book 2. Violinists and violists need a Kun shoulder rest, and cellists need a Xeros endpin anchor. Bass players need a rock stop and Nyman’s bass rosin. Your teacher also strongly recommends that all players purchase a Hamilton music stand. Manage your account online: You can check account status, make payments, and order instruments or accessories online. To get started, visit www.johnsonstring.com and select MY ACCOUNT. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you on the 11th! This service trip is for students enrolled in the Wayland Public Schools.
