2013 OUR APRIL 16TH TRIP HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED due to school vacations. Johnson String Instrument will deliver rental violins, violas, cellos, and basses for the Shrewsbury Public Schools string program on Friday, April 12th to Sherwood Middle School. Exchanges: If you would like to upgrade or exchange the instrument you are currently renting, please call 800-359-9351 or access your online account to place an order by 6PM on Thursday, April 11th. Label your current instrument clearly with your name, phone number, and exchange instructions, and leave it on the orchestra stage before the start of the school day on the 12th. Your new instrument will be left in its place and will be available for pickup after dismissal. Returns: To return your rental instrument and close your account, please label it clearly with your name, phone number, and return instructions, and leave it on the orchestra stage before the start of the school day on the 12th. Please understand that we cannot process returns we cannot identify. New rentals: To reserve an instrument for delivery, please register by 6PM on Thursday, April 11th. You can do so online, using the order form found on our service trips web page, or by calling 800-359-9351. Instruments will be delivered to the orchestra stage during the school day on the 12th, and will be distributed by your teacher the following day. Orders will be charged as they are received. Please note: We require a credit card number as a security deposit on the rental contract. Rates include insurance. Renewals may be done by phone, through the mail, or by creating an online account. Yearly rates are less expensive and if you return early, you will be refunded the cost of unused time. Rental equity program: A portion of rental fees paid may be used toward the purchase of an instrument. Accessories: All new players will need Essential Elements 2000 book 1. Violinists and violists should purchase a foam shoulder rest or an upgraded Everest alternative, and a Xeros endpin anchor is recommended for cellists and bassists. Your teacher also recommends a JSI music stand for all players. These accessories will be suggested when you order online, and you are welcome to order additional items for delivery.
