2013 Johnson String Instrument will visit Rockport Elementary School on Wednesday, May 29th to deliver rental string instruments. If you are enrolled at Rockport Public Schools and need to order a rental, exchange your instrument, or close your account, this is a good opportunity to do so without visiting our Newton store. Please note that our next visit to Rockport will be in September. All rentals expiring in June will be considered on time if returned on or before June 30th. Manage your account online: To check account status, make payments, and order instruments or accessories online, visit www.johnsonstring.com and select MY ACCOUNT. Renewals: We encourage you to keep your instrument over the summer. Call now to take advantage of free months offered with twelve-month renewals. This offer applies to our Standard and Advanced rental instruments, but not to our Master-level rentals. Returns: To return your rental and close your account, please label the case clearly with your name and phone number and leave it in the music room at Rockport Elementary before the start of the school day on Wednesday, May 29th. Please understand that we cannot process returns we cannot identify. Exchanges: To upgrade or exchange your current instrument, place an order via your online account or by calling 800-359-9351 before 6 PM on Tuesday, May 28th. Label your original instrument clearly with your name, phone number, and instructions and leave it in the Rockport Elementary music room before the start of the school day on the 29th. Your new instrument will be left in its place and may be picked up after dismissal. New Rentals: To order a new rental or reopen a rental account, call 800-359-9351 or visit www.johnsonstring.com before 6 PM on Tuesday, May 28th to complete a contract and order any accessories you may need. Your instrument and items will be delivered during the school day on the 29th and will be available for pickup from the Rockport Elementary music room anytime after dismissal. Please note: contracts will be charged as they are received. Accessories: All new players need an Orchestra Expressions book, a Winning Rhythms book, and a music stand. Violinists and violists need a shoulder rest foam, cellists need a Xeros endpin anchor, and bass players need a rock stop. Your teacher also recommends an SQ-50V metronome.
