Fall 2012 Johnson String will pick up and deliver rental instruments for Farmington Public Schools on Friday, September 21st in the UNION SCHOOL MUSIC ROOM. Any students enrolled at any Farmington Public School may return to or register for delivery to Union on the 21st. Please see our website or call 800-359-9351 if you prefer delivery to EAST FARMS, NOAH WALLACE, or WEST DISTRICT. To arrange instrument delivery, you must register by noon on Thursday, September 20th. Please be sure to register according to your delivery preference. Your instrument will be delivered to whichever school you select while registering. Please note: contracts will be charged as they are received. To exchange an instrument, contact us before noon on the 20th to reserve a new instrument, then leave your original instrument in the music room (with instructions). Your replacement instrument can be picked up after dismissal on September 21st. To return an instrument at Union, label it with your name, phone number, and instructions and leave it in the music room before the start of the school day on September 21st. Please understand that we cannot process returns we cannot identify. Accessories: All second graders will need a Suzuki book with accompaniment CD. All third graders will also need String Builder book 1. Fourth graders will need Essential Elements 2000 book 2. In addition, new violin and viola renters should order a foam shoulder rest or select a Kun shoulder rest upgrade. Finally, students in third grade and above will need a music stand. These items will be suggested when you register online, and you are welcome to use the shopping cart tool to order additional items for delivery. Please note: We require a credit card number as a security deposit on the rental contract. Rates include insurance. Renewals can be done through the mail. Yearly rates are less expensive and if you return early, you will be charged only for the time used. Rental equity: A portion of rental fees may be used toward the purchase of an instrument. This service trip is for students enrolled in the Farmington Public Schools. If you are not enrolled, please call our office at 800-359-9351 or consult our website for alternative options.
