2013 Johnson String will deliver pre-paid rental instruments to the Brooklyn Waldorf School on Thursday, May 9th. All orders for delivery must be placed by noon on Wednesday, May 8th. Please note: orders will be charged as they are received. REQUIRED: Your teacher requires all violin and viola players to purchase a blue foam shoulder rest. If you already have one or do not wish to purchase it for any reason please write that in your comments when ordering online or tell your customer service representative. If you order a violin or viola and do not specifically decline to purchase the foam shoulder rest, it will be added to your order and you will be charged for it at your teacher's request. New rentals: please call 800-359-9351 or use the online order form on our service trips web page to complete a rental contract by noon on Wednesday, May 8th. When registering you will provide information to help us determine the appropriate instrument size for your child. String teachers will distribute instruments the following week. Exchanges and returns: please clearly label instruments to be exchanged or returned and leave them on the stage near the piano before the start of the school day on the 9th. Your instrument will be picked up during the day and if you are expecting an exchange, it will be left with your teacher. Please understand that we cannot process returns we cannot identify. Please note: We do require a credit card number as a security deposit on the rental contract. Rates include insurance. Renewals may be done through the mail, by telephone, or by creating an online rental account. We will make several trips to the New York City area throughout the school year for exchanges and new rentals and will return at the end of the school year in June for an end-of-year pickup.
