Dear Lexington Waldorf Parent,
Johnson String Instrument will deliver rental instruments to the Lexington Waldorf School on:
Tuesday September 11th, 3:15-4:45 PM
We offer and recommend that you Pre-Register Online. You can Pre-Register Online after September 1, or call us at 800-359-9351 anytime after August 24th. Pre-registration ensures that an instrument of appropriate size will be reserved for your child until 4:45 PM and allows you reserve accessories in advance. If you are unable to Pre-Register Online, you may read over and fill out a contract at the delivery while your child is sized for their instrument.
PRE-REGISTERED PARENTS: Parents who pre-register do not need to attend the delivery, but we need to size the player. Your child can visit the music room and we will fit them with the correct instrument.
ALL OTHER PARENTS: You will be given a contract to read and fill out while your child is sized for an instrument. Please note that we do require a credit card number as a security deposit on the contract. However, you are welcome to pay the rental fee by check, cash or credit card.

-Small violas for children up to about 13 years, and small basses for children up to about 10.

-Basses are available in limited quantities, please call to register in advance for bass delivery.
-School rate for small basses: a nine-month rental requires only a six -month rental payment.
In addition to the instrument rental, the teacher has recommended that returning violinists and violists purchase a Kun shoulder rest for $23.10 or $24.68 (depending on size). A less expensive foam substitute is also available for $3.41.
All cellists will need a Xeros endpin anchor ($10.45). The cost of these items can be added to the cost of your rental.
Rates include tax and insurance. Renewals can be done through the mail. Please note that yearly rates are less expensive and if you return early, you will be charged only for the time used. Rental equity program: A portion of rental fees paid may be used toward the purchase of an instrument.
