Dear Martha’s Vineyard Parent,
Johnson String Instrument will be delivering rental violins, violas, cellos and basses to the Edgartown Elementary School on Monday, October 15th 2:30 – 5:30 PM.
We offer and recommend that you Pre-Register Online. You can Pre-Register Online or call our store at 1-800-359-9351 by Saturday, October 13th. Pre-registration allows you to have questions answered on the phone and ensures that an instrument of appropriate size will be reserved for your child until 5:30. If you are unable to Pre-Register Online in advance we will size your child for an instrument while you complete the rental contract at the school.

-Small violas for children up to about 13 years, and small basses for children up to about 10.

-Basses are available in limited quantities, please call to register in advance for bass delivery.
-School rate for small basses: a nine-month rental requires only a six -month rental payment.
Please note: We do require a credit card number as a security deposit on the rental contract. However, you are welcome to pay the rental fee by cash, check or credit card. Rates include insurance. Renewals can be done through the mail. Yearly rates are less expensive and if you return early, you will be charged only for the time used. Rental equity program: A portion of rental fees paid may be used toward the purchase of an instrument.
OTHER ACCESSORIES
Your teacher has asked that all players purchase additional materials which will be available at the delivery. All players will need a Suzuki music book with CD ($21.63) and an Essential Elements book ($5.78). Cellists and bass players will need a rock stop ($5.20). Violinists and violists will need either a foam shoulder rest ($3.41) or a Wolf shoulder rest ($22.00 small, $23.05 large) Music stands and some other accessories will also be available for purchase at the delivery, please call before Saturday, October 13th if you would like to order additional items.
