Dear Goffstown Parent,
Johnson String Instrument is located in Newton, Massachusetts, just west of Boston. We rent and sell violins, violas, cellos and basses. We will attend the Goffstown Public School’s instrument rental night to provide students with stringed instruments. Parents attending these deliveries can arrange new rentals, receive size exchanges and return rental instruments. We will visit the area periodically during the school year to service or exchange the instruments.
Johnson String Instrument will deliver instruments to Goffstown on:
Bartlett School 5:30-7:00
Maple Ave School 6:30-8:00
If you wish to attend either event, we recommend that you Pre-Register Online. You can Pre-Register Online after September 1, or call us at 800-359-9351 anytime after August 24th. Pre-registration will ensure that an instrument of appropriate size is reserved for your child until the end of the delivery. If you Pre-Register Online, please indicate whether you would like your instrument delivered to the Bartlett or Maple Ave School. Meet our representative at that school, and bring your child if you would like to have them sized for their instrument. If you are unable to Pre-Register Online, you may read over and fill out a contract at the delivery while your child is sized for their instrument.

-Basses are available in limited quantities, please call ahead to register for bass delivery.
-School rate for small basses: a nine-month rental requires only a six -month rental payment.
Please note: We require a credit card number as a security deposit on the rental contract. However, you are welcome to pay the rental fee by cash, check or credit card. Rates include insurance. Renewals can be done through the mail. Yearly rates are less expensive and if you return early, you will be charged only for the time used. Rental equity program: A portion of rental fees paid may be used toward the purchase of an instrument.
ACCESSORIES: All new players will need to purchase the Essential Elements 2000 book for $7.95. In addition, violinists and violists will need to purchase a foam shoulder rest ($3.25). Rockstops for cellists, folding music stands, pitchpipes and other accessories will also be available for purchase. We recommend contacting us in advance if you need items other than those listed.
