Johnson String Instrument is located in Newton, MA. This year, JSI will provide rental stringed instruments for students enrolled in the Boston Latin School music program.
JSI invites you to take advantage of a free stringed instrument delivery to the Boston Latin School on Monday, September 17th.
THREE RENTAL REGISTRATION OPTIONS:
1. Return the attached BLS Registration form to your string instructor by Friday, September 14th. Your instructor will request an instrument of appropriate size for September 17th delivery.
2. Pre-Register Online between September 1 and September 14th, then ask your string instructor at the Boston Latin School to determine which instrument size is appropriate for delivery.
3. Call our shop at 1-800-359-9351 by September 14th to complete a rental contract over the telephone. Indicate that you wish to have your rental instrument delivered to the Boston Latin School, then have your child ask his or her teacher to determine an appropriate instrument size for September 17th delivery.

*Rates include sales tax but do not include accessories. Please see the attached registration form for a list of BLS accessories.
*Rates include insurance. Yearly rates are less expensive and if you return early, you will be charged only for the time used.
*Rates listed are for our regular grade instrument rentals. Upgrades available, call 800-359-9351 to inquire
*Rental equity program: A portion of rental fees paid may be used toward the purchase of an instrument.
*School rate for small basses: a nine-month rental requires only a six -month rental payment.
NEW RENTALS: Families registering for new rentals by Friday, September 14th will have instruments delivered to the school on Monday, September 17th. Teachers will distribute instruments during that week and all new rental accounts will be activated on the delivery date.
PURCHASES: If you are interested in an instrument purchase, you can call to speak with our sales staff before 5PM on Friday, September 14th. You can arrange to have a trial instrument delivered to the school on September 18th.

RENTAL EXCHANGES AND RETURNS: Please call our shop for instructions if you wish to exchange or return an existing rental instrument.

You can Pre-Register Online for our September 17th delivery to the Boston Latin School or by contacting our shop, or you can return this form to your string instructor by Friday, September 14th. In either case, your string teacher should contact our delivery representative to request an instrument of appropriate size for delivery.
Please note: We require a credit card number as security deposit on the rental contract. If you use this form to register through the school and wish to pay with cash or check, you will need to include your credit card number on this form for security purposes, then leave your rental payment with your string instructor by September 14th. Accessories: The shoulder rest and endpin rest options listed are standard items for beginning string students. The cost of items chosen from the list below will need to be added to your rental payment. All prices include sales tax. We recommended that you call 800-359-9351 if you need items other than those listed.
Violinists and violists will require either a foam shoulder rest or a Kun shoulder rest. Please circle one:
