Dear Andover Parent,
Johnson String Instrument will deliver rental violins, violas, cellos and basses for students enrolled in the Andover Public School string program on:
Thursday, September 27th 5:00 - 8:00 PM
In the West Elementary School cafeteria
You may read over and fill out a contract at the delivery while your child is sized for their instrument, or you may Pre-Register Online or by calling us at 1-800-359-9351. Pre-Registration Online ensures that an instrument of appropriate size will be reserved for your child until 8:00 PM. This will allow you to come to the school after 7:30 to avoid waiting in a long line.

| *Based on a school year rate of 9 months for small basses; 10 months for violins and small violas. Three-month rental periods and rental upgrades are also available for all instruments. Basses are available in limited quantities, please call ahead to register for bass delivery. Small violas for children up to about 13 years, and small basses for children up to about 10. |

Please note: We require a credit card number as a security deposit on the rental contract, but you are welcome to pay the rental fee with cash, check or credit card. Rates include insurance and sales tax. Renewals can be done through the mail. Rental equity program: A portion of rental fees paid may be used toward the purchase of an instrument.
Existing and returning renters: Call 800-359-9351 if you need to reserve an instrument exchange or order the new String Explorer book. If you only need books or accessories, you can either attend the delivery and visit our table dedicated to these transactions, or you can call our shop to arrange shipping. Additional items will be available at the delivery, but we recommend calling ahead to order items other than the core materials listed below.
Books and accessories: Your teacher has requested that all new players purchase additional items. These include an Orchestral Expressions book ($8.35), a music stand ($15.70), a foam shoulder rest for violinists and violists ($3.41) and a rockstop for cellists ($10.45). In addition, violinists and violists will need the Suzuki viola CD ($15.07), and cellists and bass players will need the Suzuki cello CD ($15.07). All items will be available at the delivery.
