Shipping rates updated on 5/15/2007 - UPS rates have gone up and Johnson's has lowered our rates on most orders!

GENERAL INFORMATION
Not only are our prices for strings, books, accessories, etc. competitive with those of much larger companies, but we pride ourselves on the speed with which we process orders. If received before 1 p.m. on a weekday, merchandise in stock (excepting instruments) will normally be shipped out that same day, or the next business day at the latest. We now ship most orders with Priority Mail. This service is trackable and in most cases faster than UPS ground (also much cheaper!).

RUSH SHIPPING
In an effort to give all of our customers the best possible rush shipping rates, items with special rates will are calculated based on the state or "ZONE" we are shipping to. Please use the chart below to determine which "ZONE" your state is in. Shipping rates will be displayed on your order at checkout:

Timing: Small goods normally go out the same day (if received by 1 p.m.) or the next day (received after 1 p.m.) and will arrive one or two days later (if in the Northeast U.S. - Texas, California, etc. take approx. 5 days). Violins/Violas take approx. one week to arrive, cellos approx. ten days.

RENTER SHIPPING INFORMATION (special rates)

Instruments usually go out within five business days even during our busy season in autumn, though we do our best to ship them sooner. (All instrument orders within the continental US are shipped UPS unless otherwise requested.) The charge for shipping a bow is $6.95, a violin /viola is $15.00, and a cello (all sizes) is $30.00. Those needing specific information about any aspect of shipping are welcome to phone us at (800) 359-9351

* If you order other items along with and item with a special shipping rate there will not be two shipping charges. The "other items" will be shipped along with the "special item" at no extra charge.
