Johnson String Instrument is looking for a bow technician to join our Newton staff. The ideal candidate will be experienced in rehairing, repairing, and restoring bows for violin, viola, cello, and bass. We are also able to provide training and mentorship from some of the top craftspeople in the trade to those that show promise and dedication. RENTAL WORKSHOP LUTHIER
We are looking for a luthier to join our rental repair workshop staff in Waltham, MA. Repair, set-up or making experience with bowed string instruments is strongly preferred, but we will consider applicants with training in other instrument repair. Work will include set-up and maintenance of rental violins, violas, and cellos. Excellent entry level position with full benefits package including health and dental insurance, 401K with matching, and paid vacation and personal time. Salary will be based on experience. SCHOOL PROGRAM SPECIALIST
We are looking for a a career minded individual with string playing experience to join our rental delivery department. The ideal candidate will be a violin, viola, cello or bass player with extensive experience interacting with music teachers and program directors on a professional level. Prior school rental delivery experience a plus. Some computer skills required. A flexible schedule with occasional weekend and evening hours required. Travel approx. 50%.
