David Deroy violin, Vannes, 2007
David Deroy studied at the French national violin making school in Mirecourt. He worked for Morris & Smith of London, where he studied and restored violins by some of the master Cremonese makers. He won first prize for a violin entered in to the International Competition of Violin Making in London, 2004.
This violin is a beautifully crafted Stradivari model with a brilliant, singing, and projecting tone.
