Martin Fendt violin, London, c. 1840 Martin Fendt (1812-1845) was a London maker who worked for Arthur Betts. This violin, in beautiful condition, boasts a bold, rich sound with plenty of power and projection. It has a clear high end with a dark but focused lower end. The violin is capable of producing the amount of sound that a soloist needs, while at the same time able to produce pure, colorful, and delicate tone qualities. 356mm.
