Its Polar bridge-mounted piezo pickup system is designed to respond selectively to lateral vibration (for expressive arco bowing and percussive pizzicato) or vertical vibration (for an even, sustained plucked sound), giving you a wide tonal range—from refined "acoustic-style" cello warmth to bold electric clarity for effects and recording.
